Socially, most people won’t blink at:
- 1–3 taco meals/week: Fully invisible. Nobody cares.
- 4–6/week: You’re “the taco person,” but in a mostly positive way—like “oh nice, tacos again.”
- 7–10/week: This is where mild commentary starts (“you sure love tacos”), especially if it’s every day and you post it.
- 10+/week: Only judged if it becomes your entire personality or you’re constantly recruiting others into Taco Discourse.
If you want a practical “safe” number: up to ~5 taco meals per week is generally still normal in most friend/work circles, assuming you’re not making it a big thing.
Ways to keep it socially bulletproof:
- Rotate formats: tacos one day, burrito/bowl/quesadilla another (same ingredients, less “again??” energy).
- Change cuisines: fish tacos, al pastor, breakfast tacos, birria—variety signals “food enjoyment,” not “fixation.”
- Keep it low-friction for others: don’t make everyone wait while you do a 12-topping assembly line.
If you tell me your setting (office? roommates? dating? gym friends?), I’ll calibrate the “judgment threshold” more precisely.
Now the important question: what level are you at? 😅
👇 COMMENT with your number (no fear—we won’t judge… much).
