Tonight’s Moon is essentially full—about 99.8% illuminated—and it reaches exact Full Moon at 4:37 AM (local time) on March 3.

Around 6:33 PM, it was still very low in the east (about 7.5° up), which is why it looks so warm/golden in your shot: the thicker atmosphere near the horizon scatters blue light and softens detail.
It also means the Moon would have risen in the early evening (~5:56 PM) and will set around sunrise (~6:44 AM).

Big bonus for Cabo: there’s a total lunar eclipse in the early hours of March 3. In Baja California Sur, totality runs ~4:04–5:02 AM, with maximum around 4:33 AM, and Cabo San Lucas gets 100% obscuration (a true “blood moon” if skies cooperate).
