Born as an idea, it became one of the largest events and every year growing and receiving people both from South California and from other countries.
What is Sashimi Fest?
Sashimi Fest, since 6 years ago that it took its first steps, saw the need to continue promoting creativity, new combinations, (we have fresh seafood, fish), new plating, fostering the family relationship, which is where all this culinary spectacle goes, Los Cabos Baja California Sur is doing well with this bet, has begun to have a flow of gastronomic tourism, in a small percentage, But it is already being requested by the foreign public who plan their vacations around this meeting, also the strengthening of new companies that have come out of this event, there are several cases of entrepreneurship of chefs who have invested their earnings from the awards in their restaurants.
What is Sashimi?
Sashimi, a dish of Japanese origin, composed of slices of fish, wuasabi and a sauce, was how it arrived on the coasts of Baja California Sur, especially San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (not yet known as Los Cabos) in the early 70s.
