Who are the NEW generations of investors in Mexico?
In Mexico, the new generations of investors include diverse groups of people who are venturing into the world of investments and showing a growing interest in financial management. Below, I will mention some of these generations:
1| Millennials: Millennials, born approximately between 1981 and 1996, make up an important part of new investors in Mexico. This generation is characterized by having a more technological approach and being willing to take risks in search of investment opportunities.
2| Generation Z: Also known as Centennials, Generation Z includes those born after 1996. Although still young, many members of this generation are beginning to invest and explore different financial options, taking advantage of digital tools and mobile applications.
3| Entrepreneurs and Startups: In recent years, there has been significant growth in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Mexico. Many young entrepreneurs are creating startups and, through funding rounds, are attracting investors interested in supporting innovative and disruptive projects.
4| Professionals with medium and high incomes: Within the new generation of investors in Mexico, there are also young professionals with medium and high incomes. These individuals seek to diversify their income and generate returns through different investment instruments, such as stocks, mutual funds, real estate, and cryptocurrencies.
Importantly, these generations are influenced by technology, easily accessible information online, and the pursuit of financial opportunities beyond traditional investments. However, investment trends can vary considerably among individuals, making it difficult to fully generalize about new generations of investors in Mexico.
